‘7 Tunes In 7 Days‘ is the soundtrack to a time which has affected each and every one of us, and is the beautiful product of Hugh Hardie’s time spent in isolation. After setting himself a challenge to write a track from scratch every day, for seven days, the end result was something so spectacular we just had to release it on Hospital Records! On the week commencing 30th March, Hugh Hardie set himself a challenge to write a new track from scratch, every day for 7 days whilst in lockdown. A stellar representation of the skill and diversity of his production, the ‘7 Tunes In 7 Days‘ project will be released on Hospital Records next Sunday. After a two year hiatus, Bristol-based Hugh Hardie returns with 13-stunning tracks on his second studio album, ‘Shadows & Silhouettes’. After the success of the ‘Colourspace’ LP, he’s continued to develop his drum & bass style, producing a plethora of beautiful summer liquid, slick drumfunk and smooth down-tempo beats. He’s teamed up with the high-rising talents Pola & Bryson, Silence Groove and Unglued, as well as singer-songwriters Emer Dineen, Cimone, Robert Manos and Charlie Brix.
Following his incredible debut album ‘Talisman’, Whiney has stepped back out the lab brandishing all manner of big, beefy dancefloor beasts.
